A tidy Lake Stevens garage with wall-hung tools and white cabinets got a bright Ash Enviroflake polyurea floor in November 2025.
This Lake Stevens garage is set up to get work done. Rakes, shovels and yard tools hang in a neat row on one wall, white cabinets line another, and a black door leads into the house. The drywall is taped and mudded, the lights are bright, and the only thing that still looked unfinished was the plain grey slab with saw-cut joints and a scattering of stains.
In November 2025 our crew installed a garage floor coating in Lake Stevens with Certified Penntek polyurea in Ash Enviroflake. It's a light, clean floor that matches how organized the rest of the garage already was.
We came out for the free consultation in mid-September 2025. Moisture read 4.1% and 4.0%. The slab was in solid shape: control joints, light staining, some tire marks and the fine dust that bare concrete always sheds.
We also put a level on the floor near the cabinets. Garage slabs are built to slope toward the door, and checking that early means no surprises around cabinet bases and wall storage on install day.

Ash Enviroflake is a pale grey blend with white and darker grey chips. With white cabinets and light walls, it keeps the whole room bright, and the glossy topcoat bounces the overhead light around. It also hides the dust and grit that a working garage collects between sweeps.
Lake Stevens sits inland, closer to the foothills, and winter brings plenty of frosty nights. Concrete expands and contracts through those swings. Rigid coatings like typical epoxy can't move with it, so they crack and lift, often in years 3–5.
The Penntek basecoat is flexible and moves with the slab through freeze-thaw. Watch the Penntek Stretch Test to see it bend without letting go. It bonds to the concrete at over 1,300 PSI, and the non-porous topcoat shrugs off road salt and grime from winter driving.
