Commercial floors have to keep working while the business does. The team at Botanica Seattle had a 380 square foot warehouse room south of downtown with white walls, exposed conduit and bare concrete that was dusty, scuffed and hard to keep clean. They wanted a floor that could be mopped, that didn't shed dust onto stock, and that sealed the joint where floor meets wall.
In December 2025 Cascade installed a commercial concrete coating in Seattle with Certified Penntek polyurea in Silver Creek flake, including a cove base that carries the coating up the walls.
The free consultation was in late November 2025. The concrete was solid, rated in great condition on the Penntek warranty job card, with the usual marks of a working room: scuffs, a few patches of old residue and dust in the corners.
Testing came first. The moisture meter read 4.5% and 4.7% at the consult, and 4.7% again on install day. A scratch test checked hardness. Slab and air were both 70°F inside the building.

The card lists 36 feet of verticals. That is the cove base, a curved transition from floor to wall that leaves no seam for water, dirt or debris to collect in.
Silver Creek is a darker blend of grey, charcoal and white chips. In a room with white walls and bright overhead lights, it gives a clean, professional look without showing every scuff the way a light floor would. The 1/4 inch flake hides foot traffic and cart marks between cleanings.
