Get the Longest-Lifespan & Lowest Cost of Ownership from a Certified Penntek Polyurea Floor
Most garage floors in Bothell start yellowing, chipping or peeling within a few years. Cascade installs Certified Penntek polyurea in one day, backed by a limited lifetime warranty from Penntek, so you get a beautiful, easy-to-clean floor you never redo.

Bothell slabs stay damp through long wet seasons, and winter cars drag deicer slush home from Snohomish County roads. A thin epoxy coat lifts, and you empty the garage twice.
Experience the difference of a truly superior concrete coating.
We hear from homeowners whose epoxy blistered in years 3–5. We're Certified Penntek Dealers based in Woodinville, we test every slab and six Bothell floors carry our work.

Searching for Epoxy Floor Contractors? Learn how our Polyurea Floor Coatings lead to a longer lifespan & dramatically better durability.
Three everyday benefits of a Certified Penntek polyurea floor, the epoxy poly upgrade proven on Bothell slabs.
A silane adhesion promoter creates a chemical bond with ground concrete at over 1,300 PSI, so the floor holds where epoxy peels.
A long center crack in a 469 sq ft Bothell carport got Penntek Mender before the basecoat. It no longer shows through the flake.
The polyaspartic topcoat is non-porous and resists hot tire pickup, the warm-tire peeling typical epoxy is known for.

You're in the right spot. Maybe your slab is grey and stained, maybe there's a crack down the middle or maybe a coating went down a few years ago and now it's peeling where you park. You want a floor that looks finished, cleans up fast and stays that way. That's the floor we install with Certified Penntek polyurea, and we're based in Woodinville, about two miles away.
A quick honest note. We wrote this page so people searching "garage floor epoxy Bothell" or "concrete coating near me" would find us. So instead of filler, here's why floors fail, what we do differently and six floors we've coated in town.
Typical epoxy is brittle and grips the surface mechanically. It can't flex when the slab moves, it yellows in sunlight and warm tires can lift it. The low-bid version adds thin prep, a fast roll-on and a warranty that only lasts as long as the installer's business. That's the recipe for a floor that fails in years 3–5.
Bothell makes the test harder. Downtown sits low along the Sammamish River and the city climbs north toward Canyon Park, crossing from King into Snohomish County (the Bothell overview on Wikipedia has the geography, and the City of Bothell handles permits). Wet months run long, many older slabs were poured before vapor barriers were standard and winter cars bring deicer slush home. Moisture moving up through concrete is the most common reason coatings blister in this region, which is why the meter comes out at every consult. Our post on whether moisture will ruin a floor coating explains it.
Folks in Bothell often ask us for epoxy poly garage floors, and the install steps do mirror epoxy. The product doesn't. We're a Certified Penntek Dealer, so you get exclusive formulas only certified dealers install, a pure polyurea basecoat over 99% solids that flexes (Penntek's Stretch Test), FadeLock™ UV stability proven in a 16-hour QUV test and a limited lifetime warranty backed by Penntek, the manufacturer. Pair that with slab prep from highly trained installers who grind, fill cracks and meter moisture first, and the result is a better floor overall. Watch the bond and stretch tests on our demo page.
Here's what that looks like locally. A 469 square foot open carport with a crack running nearly its full length got Penntek Mender and Mount Everest flake on September 25, 2025. See the repaired Mount Everest carport. A single-bay garage read 4.6% and 4.3% and got 320 square feet of Stoney Creek plus 20 feet of stem walls, with wall racks left in place under plastic. Here's the Stoney Creek single bay.
In November 2025 a two-car garage with an oil line along one wall got Wild Dove on the floor, entry steps and stem walls, shown in the Wild Dove garage floor. In January 2026 a slab read 5.1% and 5.2% at the consult and 6.9% after grinding, with garage air near 80% humidity, so the crew spread the work over several days before finishing in Smoke. Follow the damp-slab Smoke garage. We've also coated a back patio and walkways here, and an empty two-car garage in Mount Everest in 2024.
A floor rolled onto a damp, unground slab can look perfect for a while. When it bubbles or peels, you clear the garage again, pay to grind off the failure and pay for another floor. If the warranty belonged to an installer who's gone, the whole bill lands on you. That's the cost we help you avoid.
Picture winter slush and oil drips wiping off a glossy flake floor in minutes, and that floor looking the same when you sell the house. That's a floor built for 30–40 years, up to 5x the lifespan of typical epoxy. We install the same floors next door, including Woodinville concrete coatings, Kenmore epoxy alternative floors across the river, plus Lake Forest Park and Kirkland garage floors.
Yes, we coat Bothell garages in winter. We finished one in November 2025 and another in January 2026. The crew checks slab moisture and temperature on install day and logs both for the Penntek warranty.
A damp slab changes the plan, not the result. When readings run high we add a two-layer moisture barrier system before color. The January garage above read 6.9% after grinding, so it was finished over several days.
Hot tires won't lift a Penntek floor the way they lift typical epoxy, because the polyaspartic topcoat resists hot tire pickup. Our post on preventing hot tire pickup explains why.
We check old epoxy at the consult, but a peeling coating usually has to come off. The crew grinds it down to sound concrete so the new basecoat bonds to the slab itself.
Before they leave on install day, the crew gives you walk-on and parking times for your floor. Those times depend on your slab and the conditions that day.
We coat patios and walkways as well as garages. One Bothell family had a back patio, side walkway and shed path done in Tidal Wave flake in June 2025.
