A compact Bothell garage full of bikes, racks and shelving got a Stoney Creek flake polyurea floor in one day in October 2025, stem walls included.
Not every garage is a three-car showpiece. This one is a single bay in Bothell, about 320 square feet, beside a stone column at the front of the house. Every wall is working: bikes and a ladder hanging up, tool racks, shelving, a workbench and overhead storage. The bare floor was dusty grey concrete with tire marks and years of scuffs.
The homeowner wanted the floor done without turning their life upside down. In October 2025 our crew installed a garage floor coating in Bothell with Certified Penntek polyurea in Stoney Creek flake. One day, with the shelves left in place and sealed off under plastic.
The free consultation was in September 2025. The moisture meter read 4.6% and 4.3% in two spots on the slab. Cascade tests every floor this way before quoting, because moisture is the thing that ruins coatings in the Northwest.
On installation day the concrete was rated in good condition, with the air at 60°F. The Penntek warranty job card lists 320 square feet of floor plus 20 feet of verticals, the low stem walls along the sides. A few small cracks and joints got Penntek Mender before the basecoat.
A small garage packed with storage takes a little planning. The crew hung plastic over the shelves and racks, moved what had to move, and worked the floor in one pass.

Stoney Creek is a light grey blend with white, grey and black chips. In a narrow bay with sage walls and lots of stuff on them, a light floor makes the room feel wider and bounces the light from the open door deeper inside. The busy flake pattern hides grit and drips, which matters when the floor sees bikes and wet shoes every day.
