A Tulalip garage with built-in shelving and a long slab crack got crack repair and a light Pebble Beach flake Penntek polyurea floor in July 2025.

This Tulalip garage was already well organized. White built-in shelving along two walls, bikes hung from ceiling racks, two water heaters on stands and a pair of wood-paneled garage doors. The floor underneath it all was the odd one out: dark, worn concrete with a long crack running across the slab and stains from years of work and parking.
In July 2025 Cascade put down a garage floor coating in Tulalip with Certified Penntek polyurea in Pebble Beach flake. The crack is repaired and covered, and the floor now matches the rest of the room.
The free consultation was in mid-June 2025. The garage was full of tools, a ladder, buckets and boxes, but the crew found open concrete to test. The moisture meter read 4.3% and 4.8%. Cascade tests every slab before quoting, because moisture coming up through concrete is a leading cause of coating failure in western Washington.
The crack was the main concern. It ran a long way across the slab, wandering and branching at the edges, the kind that tends to open and close with the seasons. On top of that, the surface was dark and stained from wear.
This job ran over three days in early July 2025, working around fixed shelving and equipment:
Pebble Beach Evolution is a light, beachy blend of white, grey, tan and black chips. With big windows, white shelving and warm wood doors, it pulls the whole room together. The mixed chips hide dust, grass clippings and the grit that comes in on bike tires.
A long crack in a garage slab usually moves a little through the year. Rigid coatings like typical epoxy can't follow it, so they split along the same line, often within years 3–5. The Penntek basecoat is flexible and stretches with the slab. See it for yourself in the Penntek Stretch Test.
The bond is chemical, over 1,300 PSI. Before the coating comes up, the concrete will come up. The topcoat is non-porous and resists hot tire pickup, and the floor is registered for a limited lifetime warranty backed by Penntek, the manufacturer.
Tulalip sits just west of Marysville on the water, in the northern part of our Snohomish County service area. Garages here deal with wet tires and long rainy seasons, so a sealed, easy-clean floor goes a long way. The Certified Penntek system is the same here as anywhere we work: test the slab, grind, repair, coat, register the warranty.

Yes. The crew grinds and coats right up to the base of fixed shelving, cabinets and equipment stands. The flake and topcoat run tight to each edge so there's no bare strip left behind.
Many garages are finished in one day. This one had a long crack to repair and a lot of fixed shelving and equipment to work around, and the work ran over three days in July 2025. The crew lays out the schedule at your quote.
It's on the light side. White and grey chips lead, with tan and black mixed in, so it brightens a garage while still hiding everyday dirt.
